This weekend BBC4 are showing a documentary on the old Hollywood studio system covering some of my favourites - Theda Bara, Clara Bow, Louise Brooks, Marlene Dietrich, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner and more.
